UEFA Champions League quarterfinal schedule confirmed
The UEFA Champions League quarterfinal and semifinal matchups finalize, stirring anticipation among football enthusiasts
Arsenal secured a Champions League quarterfinal berth for the first time in 14 years. They face a tough challenge against Bayern Munich, where former Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, who has netted an impressive 36 goals this season, will be looking to put one over his old north London rivals.
Paris St Germain, seeking their first Champions League title, will face Barcelona. Atletico Madrid will face Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, which means all three Spanish teams have the opportunity to reach the semifinals.
The path to the semifinals was also set, with Manchester City and Premier League leaders Arsenal on a collision course if they advance.
The quarterfinal draw was the last in the current format, with UEFA adopting an all-new format from the 2024-25 season onward.
The Champions League final will be held on June 1 at the 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium in London.
