Türkiye women’s national team beats Greece 1-0 in UEFA Nations League

The Turkish Women’s National Football Team secured a 1-0 victory over Greece in their second match of Group 2 in the UEFA Nations League B.

In the 33rd minute, Türkiye took the lead. A quick counter-attack saw Melike Pekel advance down the left, delivering a precise low cross to the far post. Elif Keskin controlled the ball at the edge of the penalty area and calmly finished past the goalkeeper to make it 1-0.

First win after loss to Ireland

The match ended with no further goals, and Türkiye emerged with a 1-0 victory. After losing 1-0 to the Republic of Ireland in their opening match, this win marked their first in the competition.

The team will face Slovenia in their third match on April 4, away from home.
