Türkiye, Netherlands name starting XIs for Euro 2024 quarterfinal showdown
In tonight’s Euro 2024 quarterfinal match, the Turkish mational football team will face the Netherlands. Türkiye secured its spot in the quarterfinals by defeating Austria 2-1 in the round of 16.
If successful in this round, the team will advance to the semi-finals in Dortmund on July 10th against the winner of the England-Switzerland match.

Who is absent?
In terms of absences, Türkiye will miss Orkun Kokcu and Ismail Yuksek due to suspension. However, captain Hakan Calhanoglu and Samet Akaydin, whose suspensions have ended, will be on the field.
Turkish defender Merih Demiral is also absent. Merih Demiral, who made a grey wolf gesture, has been given a controversial 2-match ban by the UEFA.
Netherlands does not have any players suspended.
The match will be officiated by French referee Clement Turpin, assisted by Nicolas Danos and Benjamin Pages from the same country. The fourth official will be Felix Zwayer from the German Football Association, and Jerome Brisard from France will serve as the VAR referee.
