Türkiye finishes Paris 2024 Paralympic Games with historic 28 medals
Türkiye’s national athletes made history at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, winning a total of 28 medals – 6 gold, 10 silver and 12 bronze.
This marks the highest number of medals Türkiye has ever secured at a Paralympic Games, doubling the gold medals achieved at Rio 2016 and nearly doubling the total number of medals from Tokyo 2020.
Historic achievement in Paralympic for Türkiye
The games, held in Paris from August 28, 2024, to the closing ceremony tomorrow, have been a monumental success for Türkiye, with national athletes setting new records. This performance is the most successful Paralympic campaign in Türkiye’s history.
