Turkish wunderkind Arda Guler to play against Czech Republic at Euro 2024

Real Madrid star Arda Guler, who was benched during the Portugal match because of injury concerns, is set to play against the Czech Republic in Türkiye’s game at Euro 2024.

After completing individual training, Guler has rejoined the national team’s practice sessions. Head coach Vincenzo Montella faced criticism for not bringing Guler on as a substitute in the Portugal match.

Additionally, footage of Montella taking Guler’s training vest during practice sparked discussions on social media.

In other team news, another player Irfan Can Kahveci has resumed training with the squad after completing his treatment.

However, Orkun Kokcu, who suffered an ankle injury, and Mert Gunok, who is dealing with knee pain, did not participate in the training session because of ongoing treatments.
