Arda Guler enters record books

With his goal in the match, Arda Guler became the youngest player to score in the European Championship finals for the Turkish national team.

Surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo

At 19 years and 114 days old, Arda Guler’s goal broke Cristiano Ronaldo’s record, making him the youngest player to score in their debut match in European Championship history. Ronaldo had set the previous record at 19 years and 128 days during Euro 2004.
