Turkish national basketball player Omer Yurtseven has reached an agreement in principle with Greek club Panathinaikos.

The transfer is expected to become official after Panathinaikos sends Olek Balcerowski to another team.

Panathinaikos BC General Manager Sani Becirovic told the Serbian press on Monday, “Omer’s name is on our list. We have been in contact, and we have made inquiries to see if this can happen. However, completion of certain procedures is necessary for the transfer to occur,” he said.

Back to Europe from NBA

26-year-old national player Omer Faruk Yurtseven has been playing in the NBA since 2021. However, his return to Europe seems imminent. According to Eurohoops sources, Yurtseven has reached an agreement in principle with Panathinaikos. However, Yurtseven has asked for a few more days to consider possible offers from the NBA before the official signing can take place.
