Mete Gazoz, the world-renowned Turkish archer, claimed a silver medal at the Archery World Cup 2025 Stage 1 held in the United States.

Strong competition in Florida’s Polk County

The competition took place in Polk County, Florida, where eight athletes from Türkiye participated in the prestigious event.

Gazoz, who has previously secured Olympic, World, and European Championship titles, delivered an impressive performance in the men’s recurve category.

A close final battle

In the final, Gazoz faced off against German archer Florian Unruh.

Despite a strong showing, he was narrowly defeated 7-3, ultimately securing second place and the silver medal.
