Besiktas’ new head coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has reversed his initial decision and decided not to transfer or loan out star player Ernest Muci, who had previously been on the move list.

Underperforming players shine under Solskjaer

Since Solskjaer’s appointment, several previously underperforming players have stepped up, and Ernest Muci has been one of the brightest performers.

Although he didn’t score or assist in the game, Muci’s contribution to the team’s attacking play stood out.

His performance against Athletic Bilbao was particularly notable, where he showcased his ability to orchestrate the team’s attacks and contribute effectively.

This earned him praise from Solskjaer, making him one of the coach’s favorites.

Muci’s future at Besiktas

The 23-year-old, who was previously considered for a transfer or loan move after a quiet start to the season, impressed Solskjaer with his recent performances.

Following personal discussions with the coach, Muci’s potential has been acknowledged, and Solskjaer has decided to retain him for the time being.

While Premier League clubs have shown interest in the Albanian forward, any transfer decisions will now be postponed until the end of the season.
