Türkiye’s national women’s volleyball team head coach Daniele Santarelli’s future has been confirmed following their fourth-place finish at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Ustundag announced that they have exercised the four-year option in Santarelli’s contract. Ustundag stated, “We had a 2+4 year contract, and I want to officially announce that Santarelli will continue with us until the end of the Los Angeles Olympics.”

Expressing his satisfaction with Santarelli, Ustundag said, “Santarelli has promised that Turkish volleyball will become a significant force in Europe and the world. It’s a privilege to work with a young, dynamic, and positive coach who has embraced becoming part of this country. As a president, I am very pleased with him.”
