Roma’s young Star Nicola Zalewski set for potential transfer to Galatasaray
As the transfer window nears its close, Turkish sports club Galatasaray is reportedly negotiating to sign Nicola Zalewski – a 22-year-old Polish winger from AS Roma.
Italian journalist Di Marzio reports Galatasaray has initiated talks for a permanent transfer of Zalewski.
With the recent departures of Kerem Akturkoglu and Wilfried Zaha, the Turkish club aims to bolster its wing options with Zalewski.
Discussions are reportedly advancing through intermediary George Gardi to secure the young winger, whose contract with Roma expires at the end of the season.
A versatile player capable of playing as a left-back, left midfielder, or left winger, Zalewski emerged from Roma’s youth academy.
His current contract with Roma runs until 2025.
During his time with the Italian club, Zalewski has made 109 appearances, scored 2 goals and provided 7 assists.
