Real Madrid secured a commanding 5-0 victory over Deportiva Minera in the Spanish King’s Cup round of 32, with Turkish star Arda Guler delivering a standout performance by scoring two goals.
Real Madrid asserted their dominance from the start, with Fede Valverde opening the scoring in the 5th minute, followed by a goal from Camavinga in the 13th minute. Luka Modric added to the tally with a strike in the 55th minute.
Turkish star shines with 2 goals
Turkish star Guler, starting in the first eleven, stole the show by netting goals in the 28th and 88th minutes, receiving widespread praise for his full 90-minute performance at Municipal Cartagonova Stadium.
Meanwhile, in a memorable moment, Deportiva Minera’s veteran player Omar Perdomo approached Guler at the end of the first half to exchange jerseys, honoring the young Turkish star with a gesture of admiration.
With this win, Real Madrid comfortably advanced to the next round of the competition.
