French football giant PSG has initiated contact for the transfer of Besiktas‘ wunderkind Semih Kilicsoy according to Türkiye Daily. Head coach Luis Enrique reportedly sees the young forward as a good fit for his system.

The French side is prepared to offer €30 million ($31.4 million) for the transfer.

At the beginning of the season, Aston Villa showed strong interest in signing Kilicsoy, but negotiations did not lead to an agreement.

While English clubs remain interested, PSG has now emerged as a serious contender. Reports from the French media suggest that Aston Villa may struggle to match PSG’s offer.

Besiktas is open to negotiations, but the final decision will be up to the player. Kilicsoy has previously expressed a desire to play in England, which could influence his choice.

If the transfer goes through for €30 million, Kilicsoy would set a new record as Besiktas’ most expensive outgoing transfer, surpassing Cenk Tosun’s €24 million move to Everton.
