In the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first-leg encounter, Portuguese club Porto secured a 1-0 victory over English Premier League side Arsenal with a late-game twist Wednesday.

The match at Dragao Stadium witnessed Porto’s Brazilian forward, Galeno, endure a rollercoaster of emotions.

In the 21st minute, he hit the woodwork, had an unsuccessful attempt, and missed a double opportunity. 

Galeno made amends for his earlier mistake in the 94th minute when he beat Arsenal goalie David Raya with a screamer to score the winning goal for the hosts.​​​​​​​

The second leg will be played on March 12 at Emirates Stadium.
