Galatasaray’s loan signing from Napoli, world-renowned striker Victor Osimhen, has been at the center of transfer rumors since the beginning of the season.

His future is still uncertain, with multiple top clubs showing interest. Recently, reports emerged revealing Osimhen‘s salary demands, which have reportedly caused Manchester United to reconsider their pursuit of the star forward.

Osimhen’s transfer saga continues to attract attention

Galatasaray made headlines worldwide when they secured Osimhen on loan at the start of the season. His connection with the Turkish club has been well-received, and fans are hoping for him to stay.

However, Osimhen’s future remains unclear as he continues to attract interest from major clubs. Despite expressing his desire to stay with Galatasaray by saying “Wait for me,” Osimhen’s future is still uncertain, with some of the biggest football clubs in the world keeping an eye on him.

Manchester United reconsidering due to salary demands

One of the most prominent clubs interested in Osimhen has been Manchester United. However, recent developments suggest that United may back out of the deal due to his salary demands.

Osimhen’s salary demand revealed

According to ESPN, a sports channel based in the U.S. that broadcasts in 37 countries, Osimhen’s salary demand has been revealed. The striker is reportedly seeking a salary of $11.6 million per year before taxes.

Manchester United is said to be working on a budget to accommodate this demand, but with the club’s current financial situation, this may prove difficult.

Manchester United eyeing young forward instead

Amid concerns about adjusting their financial plans to meet Osimhen’s demands, Manchester United is reportedly considering alternatives.

Ipswich’s young forward Liam Delap is said to be at the top of the list as a potential replacement for Osimhen, should the club decide not to pursue the Nigerian striker further.
