Newcastle United targets Besiktas’ rising star Semih Kilicsoy

Besiktas’ rising star Semih Kilicsoy has caught the attention of Premier League club Newcastle United. The English side is closely monitoring the 19-year-old striker.
After appointing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as head coach for the second half of the Trendyol Super Lig season, Besiktas has been on the rise under the Norwegian manager. At the same time, young talent Semih Kilicsoy has been making headlines with his impressive performances.
Working under a special training program with Solskjaer, Semih has scored in the last two league matches, further boosting his reputation.
Newcastle joins race after Aston Villa
According to reports in the English media, Newcastle United has entered the race for Semih Kilicsoy, whom Aston Villa had shown interest in at the start of the season but failed to sign.
Newcastle Untited, currently sixth in the Premier League and with a squad valued at €600 million ($650 million), aim to add the young striker to their squad during the summer transfer window.
Besiktas management, recognizing Semih’s potential, intends to keep him in the squad. After Aston Villa, Newcastle has also set its sights on the young star, and Besiktas has reportedly set a high transfer fee, expecting offers around €20 million.
