Newcastle pursues Besiktas’ Semih Kilicsoy with Aston Villa, Everton also in race

Newcastle United is reportedly leading the race to sign 19-year-old striker Semih Kilicsoy from Besiktas, with Aston Villa and Everton also vying for the young talent.
According to British media, several Premier League clubs are closely monitoring Kilicsoy, who has not been given many opportunities by Besiktas this season. Newcastle United, in particular, is highly determined to add the promising forward to their squad.
If the transfer goes through, it is expected that Kilicsoy will keep the same jersey colors, with his playing style remaining unchanged.
The Turkish international is considered one of Europe’s rising stars. However, Newcastle United faces stiff competition, with both Aston Villa and Everton also pursuing the striker.

It is anticipated that all three Premier League clubs will make official offers to Besiktas at the end of the season. Additionally, German clubs Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund, along with Portuguese sides Sporting Lisbon and Benfica, are also keeping a close eye on Kilicsoy’s progress.
The 19-year-old forward’s market value is currently estimated at €15 million ($16.2 million). While Besiktas is open to selling, the club hopes to secure a transfer fee above his current market value. Kilicsoy remains under contract with Besiktas until 2028.
