Madrid’s Rudiger to miss Girona, Leipzig matches
Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger will miss the Girona and RB Leipzig matches due to injury
Real Madrid’s Antonio Rudiger will miss key matches against Girona and RB Leipzig due to a confirmed thigh injury, the club announced Saturday.
The German international Rudiger took a knock against Getafe last week, after which the club confirmed that he has a muscle injury in his thigh, with Spanish media reporting that Rudiger will be out of action for two weeks.
With Eder Militao and David Alaba sidelined and Nacho Fernandez doubtful, Ancelotti’s hands are tied at the back.
Ancelotti has used midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni and right-back Dani Carvajal as emergency cover in the heart of the defense at times this season.
