Premier League rivals Chelsea and Liverpool faceoff set to take place in the English League Cup final at Wembley Stadium

Two Premier League clubs will meet Sunday as Chelsea to face Liverpool in the 2024 English League Cup (Carabao Cup) final. 

The Reds look to clinch their 10th League Cup title while the Blues aim for their first domestic trophy for eight seasons since 2015.

While Liverpool wants to win their 10th League Cup title, the Blues aim to win their first domestic cup in eight seasons since 2015.

Liverpool hold the record for the most Carabao Cup titles, having lifted the trophy nine times, ahead of Manchester City (8) and Manchester United (6).

Chelsea last tasted the English League Cup in 2015, beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0.

Chelsea will face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup Final for the third time.

While the London club won the 2005 championship with a score of 3-2, the Reds won the 2022 championship on penalties.

Wembley Stadium has a capacity of 90,000 spectators and will host the final on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
