Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten run secures 3-2 victory over VfB Stuttgart to reach German Cup semifinals

In Tuesday’s thrilling German Cup quarterfinal match, Bayer Leverkusen showcased its resilience by twice coming from behind before securing a 3-2 victory over VfB Stuttgart. 

The Bundesliga leaders faced a challenging encounter as they twice canceled out goals from Stuttgart, displaying their determination to advance to the semifinals.

Jonathan Tah emerged as the match’s hero, reaching the decisive goal from close range in the 90th minute. 

The victory propels Bayer Leverkusen into the German Cup semifinals, joining Fortuna Dusseldorf and Kaiserslautern, who have already secured their spots. 

The remaining quarterfinal between Saarbruecken and Borussia Moenchengladbach on Wednesday will determine the fourth team to advance.
