Zehra Gunes, who has been an instrumental part of the Turkish national team and Vakifbank for several years, finds herself in a situation where her contract with the Turkish powerhouse will not be renewed.

According to recent claims, former volleyball player Gulden Kayalar Kuzubasioglu revealed that while discussions had taken place between Zehra and Vakifbank over a new contract, the two sides could not reach an agreement.

Kuzubasioglu also mentioned that if Zehra does not extend her contract with Vakifbank, several Italian teams have shown interest in signing the talented player. Specifically, teams from Italy’s top league, Milan and Scandicci, have reportedly reached out to Zehra, eager to bring her into their ranks for the upcoming season.

In her interview, Kuzubasioglu explained, “We have spoken with Zehra and tried to come to an agreement, but as of now, nothing has been finalized.
