Kerem Kazaz etched his name in history by clinching victory at the Sarikamis, the opening race of the Turkish Rally Championship

Kerem Kazaz, 19, made history by winning the Sarikamis Rally, the inaugural race of the Turkish Rally Championship, making him the youngest pilot to achieve such a feat in Türkiye.

This victory, accomplished shortly after obtaining his driver’s license, marks him as a rising star with his eyes set on the pinnacle of rally racing, the World Rally Championship (WRC).

The Sarikamis Rally in Kars, held from Feb. 23-25, showcased Kazaz’s remarkable debut alongside his Lithuanian co-pilot Andris Malnieks, securing the top spot.

As the son of four-time Turkish Rally Champion Ercan Kazaz, Kerem’s triumph signifies a generational shift in Turkish rallying.

His success is attributed to years of dedication, starting with motocross at four, progressing to karting, and eventually competing in the Turkish Circuit Championship at 15.

His international debut at 16 through the DriveToTheFuture project provided crucial experience, culminating in his recent victory on home soil.

Despite his youth, Kazaz has navigated various rally terrains and aspires to compete in the WRC, emphasizing his focus on global impact.
