Galatasaray’s 3-1 victory over Fenerbahce in Kadikoy during the 6th week of the Super League has made headlines in the global press.

“Mourinho’s Fenerbahce Ridiculed in Home Derby” was one of the prominent headlines covering the match.

Abola, the renowned Portuguese newspaper, reported on the derby with the headline: “José Mourinho Crumbles in Galatasaray Derby at Home.”

“Fenerbahce manager José Mourinho, who left the stadium without holding a press conference after the 3-1 loss to Galatasaray, was mocked with a comparison to the ‘Crying Man,’” reported the Daily Mail.

Marca, one of Spain’s most widely circulated newspapers, covered the match with the headline: “Galatasaray, with Osimhen, upsets Fenerbahce and silences Mourinho!”

The Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport evaluated the intercontinental derby, analyzing the match through players who moved from Italy.

“Dzeko was not enough for Mourinho! Galatasaray, with Osimhen and Mertens, demolished Fenerbahce in the away derby,” the newspaper reported.
