Galatasaray’s Legal Affairs Board Member, Can Natan, announced that the club will file a legal complaint against the President of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu, and the members of the Appeal Board on charges of abuse of power.

Referring to the recent controversy surrounding José Mourinho, Natan criticized their rivals for unconditionally supporting the Portuguese coach despite his disrespectful remarks about Turkish football, referees, and the Turkish people.

In a statement released on the club’s official website,

To us, it is deeply shameful that our rivals have blindly supported the disrespectful actions of José Mourinho, who has insulted Turkish football, Turkish referees, and the Turkish people. These actions clearly demonstrate the lengths to which our opponents are willing to go to win, at the expense of their values.

Our club will file a legal complaint against TFF President, who has engaged in arbitrary and unlawful practices since taking office, as well as the members of the Appeal Board, whose formation itself has been found to be unlawful. Galatasaray, which has been battling through the games to overcome the challenges and manipulations aimed at it in recent years, is fighting for the championship with the strength of its players, fans, and community.

These malicious attempts have only strengthened Galatasaray’s determination to win, making their championships even more valuable. Let us remind those who fail to learn from history: history repeats itself. You will become history.

Galatasaray will write a new chapter in history.
