Galatasaray targets goalkeeper Milinkovic-Savic to replace Muslera: Italian media

Galatasaray, which is at the center of match-fixing allegations in Türkiye, is stepping up efforts to find a replacement for veteran goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, who is said to be ending his career at the end of the season.
According to Italian outlet AreaNapoli, the Turkish title contender has entered the race to sign Serbian shot-stopper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, who is also a target for Italian football club Napoli.
Despite extending first-choice keeper Alex Meret’s contract, Napoli is looking to strengthen its goalkeeping options.

Galatasaray could complicate deal for Napoli
However, Italian media suggests that Galatasaray’s involvement could complicate such a pursuit for Napoli.
Reports suggest that Galatasaray, through agent George Gardi, has accelerated talks and is optimistic about securing Milinkovic-Savic if he decides to leave Torino.
The 28-year-old, under contract until June 2026, earns a net salary of €700,000 ($755,870) per year, making a higher offer a decisive factor in his decision.
Standing at 2.02 meters, Milinkovic-Savic has played for clubs including Vojvodina, Manchester United, Lechia Gdansk, SPAL, Ascoli, and Standard Liege before joining Torino. His current market value is estimated at €12 million.
The Serbian goalkeeper has kept 10 clean sheets in 30 appearances for Torino this season while conceding 33 goals.
