Galatasaray plans to secure Victor Osimhen’s permanent transfer

Since joining Galatasaray, Victor Osimhen has become a fan favorite, making significant contributions to the team. However, his future remains uncertain.
According to Turkish media, Galatasaray has a clear plan in place to secure the Nigerian star, despite interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.
Galatasaray loaned Osimhen from Napoli at the start of the season, and the Nigerian striker has impressed with his performances. While his future remains up in the air, the Turkish giants are patiently awaiting the outcome.
Option to buy for 66 million euros ($72 million)
According to Sabah newspaper, Galatasaray has the option to permanently sign Osimhen for 66 million euros ($72 million), in addition to the 9 million euros paid for the loan. The club is preparing financially to make this move, with the decision now in the hands of the player.
New project involving fans
To help fund the transfer, Galatasaray is set to launch a fan-driven project, with plans to introduce a new AI-powered mobile app by the end of the season. This initiative will allow supporters to participate in the process of securing Osimhen’s permanent signing.
The app will feature various membership tiers, with the premium option priced at 2,500 Turkish Lira. Premium members will enjoy exclusive perks, including access to training sessions, the opportunity to meet players, and more. The club aims to attract 500,000 premium members, generating significant revenue for the Osimhen deal.
First payment of transfer fee
With this new project, the club plans to use the funds to cover the first installment of the three-part payment for Osimhen’s transfer. Galatasaray is optimistic that this initiative will provide the necessary financial backing for the deal.

Negotiations with Napoli begin
Meanwhile, Galatasaray has reportedly started discussions with Napoli regarding Osimhen’s permanent transfer. The Turkish side has informed the Italian club that they are ready to pay for the striker and are awaiting his decision.
It’s also reported that Osimhen, who earned 10 million euros this season with Galatasaray, has requested a salary of 15 million euros ($16 million) for the next season.
