Galatasaray dominates Eyupspor 5-1 to strengthen Super Lig lead

Galatasaray strengthened its position at the top of the Trendyol Super Lig standings with a dominant 5-1 victory over Eyupspor in the 33rd week of the season. The goals for the yellow-reds came from Sallai, Torreira, Osimhen, and Morata.
The match, held at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium, saw the league leaders Galatasaray deliver an impressive performance, defeating Eyupspor with a 5-1 scoreline.
The goals for Galatasaray were scored by Roland Sallai in the 29th minute, Lucas Torreira in the 56th, Victor Osimhen in the 71st, and Alvaro Morata in the 87th and 89th minutes. Eyupspor’s only goal came in the 79th minute from Claro.
With this victory, Galatasaray increased their points tally to 80, maintaining a 5-point lead over their closest rivals, Fenerbahce. Eyupspor, on the other hand, remained at 50 points in 5th place.
Galatasaray, who made no mistakes in the title race, will host Sivasspor next week at home.
