‘From Greece to Germany’: Türkiye’s riders all set for European championships
Türkiye is gearing up for multiple international motorcycle championships, showcasing its talent and determination on the global stage.

The Turkish Motorcycle Federation announced that Turkish athletes will participate in various competitions, including the European Track Championship of the Balkan Motorcycling Union (BMU) in Greece and the European Motocross Championship in Germany.
The BMU European Track Championship’s 3rd and 4th legs will be held at the Serez Circuit in Greece from May 31 to June 2.
A group of skilled Turkish riders, including Yunus Ercelik, Furkan Tahsin Idgu and 18 others, will compete for medals in the championship.
The third leg of the European Track Championship will be held on Saturday, June 1, and the fourth on Sunday, June 2.
Besides the BMU championship, Türkiye will be represented by Ahmet Idrisoglu in the EMX250 class at the European Motocross Championship, set to take place at the Talkessel MX Circuit in Teutschenthal, Germany.
Idrisoglu will strive to showcase his skills and secure a podium finish in this prestigious event.
Motosurf: 4 Turkish athletes in Poland
Moreover, the Turkish Motorcycle Federation is venturing into the emerging extreme sport of “motosurf” by participating in the World Motosurf Championship in Poland.
Four Turkish athletes, including Murat Yorgancilar and Efe Gursoy, will compete in this thrilling competition in Osiek. They aim to demonstrate their prowess and clinch medals for Türkiye on the international stage.
