2022 World Cup finalists France, Italy, Belgium, and Israel draw together in the UEFA Nations League

The UEFA Nations League is scheduled to kick off in September, serving as the next significant event for member countries following the European Championship this summer.

The draw grouped three top-10 teams in the FIFA world rankings: France, Italy, Belgium and Israel, creating a highly competitive pool.

The Nations League allows these teams to continue their footballing pursuits after the Euro 2020, where they have already secured their places.

The draw also placed the defending Nations League champion, Spain, in a formidable group alongside Denmark, Switzerland, and Serbia. The latter two nations are set to renew an intense rivalry, marked by Swiss victories in their previous encounters at the last two World Cups.

The Nations League, introduced in 2018, has become a significant fixture in the international football calendar, offering competitive matches for national teams outside major tournaments.
