During a Euro 2024 match between Türkiye and Portugal on Saturday, a young fan running onto the field to take a selfie with Cristiano Ronaldo captured worldwide attention.
In the 68th minute of the match, a child entered the field and took a selfie with star player Ronaldo, sparking curiosity among spectators.
The video of Ronaldo eagerly awaiting the child, with his arms outstretched, quickly went viral on social media platforms, garnering thousands of shares and likes.
Meet Berat: The fearless 10-year-old
Berat, a 10-year-old residing in Germany and playing for the U11 team of KSV Hessen Kassel, shared that he entered the field after a bet with friends.
According to Bild’s report, Berat told his father he was going to the restroom before making his move onto the field. He had previously informed his friends about his plan, stating, “I fulfilled my dreams. Now I have a photo with Cristiano Ronaldo. It will be on a t-shirt and in my room.”
Berat added that he wasn’t scared when he ran onto the field, showcasing his fearless spirit.
