Fenerbahce bid farewell to the Super Cup after being defeated by Ankaragucu in Ziraat Turkish Cup quarter-final

In the Ziraat Turkish Cup quarter-final match, Fenerbahce was defeated Thursday 3-0 away to MKE Ankaragucu and bid farewell to the cup.

MKE Ankaragucu made its name in the semi-finals.

MKE Ankaragucu was the winning side in the match played at Eryaman Stadium.

The capital team beat Fenerbahce with a score of 3-0 at home and went to the semi-finals.

MKE Ankaragucu took the lead 1-0 with Olimpiu Morutan’s goal in the 10th minute. The capital team doubled the difference with the goal scored by Anastasios Chatzigiovanis in the 33rd minute.

The first half of the match ended with MKE Ankaragucu leading 2-0.

The goal scored by the capital team in the match’s second half was canceled because of offside.

With the goal scored by Garry Rodrigues in the 86th minute, Ankaragucu made the score 3-0.

As no other goal was in the remaining minutes, MKE Ankaragucu beat Fenerbahce 3-0 and advanced to the semi-finals.
