Fenerbahce, Galatasaray reach Europa League knockout round; opponents revealed

The final round of the UEFA Europa League group stage has been completed, and following the results, the potential opponents for Turkish teams Fenerbahce and Galatasaray in the knockout stage have been determined.

The eighth and final round of the group stage matches in the UEFA Europa League have concluded. After the final results, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray advanced to the playoff round, while Besiktas was eliminated from European competition.

Here are the results and standings for the Turkish teams:

  • Ajax 2-1 Galatasaray
    Galatasaray finished the group stage in 14th place with 13 points.
  • Midtjylland 2-2 Fenerbahce
    Fenerbahce finished the group stage in 24th place with 10 points.
  • Twente 1-0 Besiktas
    Besiktas finished in 28th place with nine points and was eliminated from the tournament.
