Fenerbahce edges out rivals to sign Anderson Talisca on 1.5-year deal
Brazilian playmaker Anderson Talisca is close to completing a move to Fenerbahce. The club is continuing to strengthen its squad under Jose Mourinho’s leadership.
Fenerbahce side has already brought in Diego Carlos from Aston Villa and conducted a medical for Milan Skriniar. Now, they have reportedly reached an agreement with Talisca on a 1.5-year contract.
A private jet is set to fly the 30-year-old from Saudi Arabia, where he currently plays for Al Nassr, to Istanbul later today. Fenerbahce is expected to finalize the deal by securing the player’s transfer rights.
Social media hints and preparations
Ahead of the anticipated transfer, Talisca caught the attention of fans by updating his Instagram profile with a sand timer emoji and sharing a video of himself training solo at the gym. He added a cryptic caption to the post, stating, “The grandeur of the second home will surpass the first.”
Rivalry for Talisca in the transfer market
Fenerbahce Vice President Acun Ilıcalı addressed the competition for Talisca, hinting at rival club Galatasaray’s unsuccessful attempts to sign the player.
“Talisca has been in contact with us for a long time. Galatasaray made some moves in the last week, but these things happen in transfers. We build strong relationships with players and ensure they understand our vision. Talisca already feels like part of Fenerbahce, and we are working to resolve all challenges to bring him here,” Ilıcalı said.
Anderson Talisca’s recent form

A product of Bahia’s youth academy, he has played for Benfica, Besiktas, Guangzhou Evergrande, and Al Nassr throughout his career. Al Nassr initially paid €8 million for the Brazilian, whose current market value is estimated at €12 million.
