Galatasaray bid farewell to the Ziraat Turkish Cup after a 2-0 defeat against Fatih Karagumruk in the quarterfinals

Galatasaray’s run in the Ziraat Turkish Cup came to an end on Friday with a 2-0 defeat to Fatih Karagumruk in the quarterfinals.

At RAMS Park, the yellow-red team, which began the match rotating players, conceded an early goal to Marcao in the sixth minute. Fatih Karagumruk dominated the first half, leaving the score 1-0 at the break.

Although both teams developed effective attacks in the second half, the scoreboard did not change for long.

The guest team scored another goal with Ryan Mendes in the 84th minute and left the field victorious 2-0.

With this result, Galatasaray said goodbye to the Turkish Cup, while Fatih Karagümrük made it to the semifinals.
