Young outside hitter Ilkin Aydin stood out with her high potential and strong performance in the Turkish women’s volleyball team‘s Olympic journey.

Aydin plays as an outside hitter for the Turkish women’s national volleyball team and Galatasaray in the Sultanlar League. She previously played for Ilbank and TVF Sports High School.
In 2023, she was part of the Turkish team that won the Women’s European Volleyball Championship and was selected for the Turkish team competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Throughout her career, Ilkin Aydin has played for Ilbank in the 2015-16 season, TVF Sports High School in the 2016-17 season, and Galatasaray from 2017 onward.
With the national team, she has won championships in the 2023 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League, the 2023 European Women’s Volleyball Championship, and the 2023 Volleyball World Cup.
She has also achieved third place in the 2018 Mediterranean Games, first place in the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games, third place in the 2021 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League, third place in the 2021 European Women’s Volleyball Championship, and second place in the 2022 Mediterranean Games.
At the club level, she earned second place in the 2020-21 CEV Women’s Cup with Galatasaray and won the 2023-24 Balkan Cup.
