Eintracht Frankfurt set to make strong €20M offer for Besiktas’ Semih Kilicsoy

Besiktas’ young talent, Semih Kilicsoy, has been making waves in European football, catching the attention of top clubs across the continent.
The 19-year-old, who has struggled to secure a regular spot in Besiktas‘ starting lineup this season, is now preparing for a potential move to one of Europe’s major leagues.
Interest from Eintracht Frankfurt
The latest club to express interest in Kilicsoy is Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. The German club has made an initial offer of approximately 20 million euros ($20.83 million) for the promising youngster, following discussions that began in October during the match between Besiktas and Eintracht Frankfurt in Istanbul. Eintracht Frankfurt appears determined to add Kilicsoy to their squad.
Although Kilicsoy has previously shown interest in playing in the Bundesliga, he has also stated that his priority remains winning titles with Besiktas. However, Eintracht Frankfurt’s offer could change his mind.
Other potential suitors: Manchester City, PSG
Kilicsoy’s performance has also attracted interest from some of Europe’s top clubs. Premier League powerhouse Manchester City is reportedly considering a 30 million euro bid for the youngster. In addition, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have both expressed interest, though no official bids have been made yet.

At present, Besiktas is holding out for a higher transfer fee. Reports suggest that they are seeking around 25 million euros for Kilicsoy, who is valued at 15 million euros based on his current market value. His recent performances, however, have increased his worth.
In the 2023/24 season, Kilicsoy played a total of 35 matches, scoring 12 goals and providing 3 assists in 2,086 minutes of action. Breaking this down further, he featured in 23 Super Lig matches, where he netted 11 goals and provided 3 assists, accumulating 1,687 minutes. In the Turkiye Cup, he played 5 matches, scoring once in 244 minutes.
He also appeared in 3 UEFA Conference League matches, contributing 77 minutes of play, and made 4 appearances in the UEFA Conference League Qualifiers, where he scored once in 78 minutes.
