In an NBA regular season game, the Houston Rockets suffered a 116-105 loss to the Dallas Mavericks despite a stellar 30-point performance from Turkish national player Alperen Sengun.

Sengun played nearly 38 minutes, contributing 30 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block on 11-of-19 shooting. However, his efforts were not enough to secure a win for the Rockets, who have now lost 6 consecutive games, marking their 20th defeat of the season.

Jalen Green added 24 points, while Amen Thompson contributed 20 points for Houston.

On the winning side, the Mavericks earned their 28th victory of the season. Anthony Davis, in his first game with Dallas following a trade involving Luka Doncic, had an impressive debut, registering 26 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 blocks in 31 minutes. However, Davis was unable to finish the game after suffering an injury late in the third quarter.

Max Christie and Naji Marshall also made significant contributions, scoring 23 and 16 points, respectively, to help secure the win for Dallas.

With this loss, the Houston Rockets remain in 5th place in the Western Conference.
