Can Yılmaz Uzun picks Turkish national team

Nurnberg’s emerging football star, 18-year-old Can Yılmaz Uzun, has made a significant decision in his career, opting to represent the Turkish national team over Germany

Rising star, 18-year-old Can Yılmaz Uzun, who currently plays in Germany’s 2nd Bundesliga for Nurnberg, has officially declared his commitment to represent the Turkish national team.

Despite solid efforts from the German Football Federation to sway his decision, Can chose to wear the Turkish jersey, announcing the news on his social media platforms. The young footballer said in his post, “I listened to the voice of my heart.”  

His decision was influenced not only by the persuasive efforts of the German side but also by the dedication of national team manager Hamit Altıntop.

Can has showcased exceptional talent, scoring 15 goals in 23 league and cup matches for Nurnberg this season.
