In a highly anticipated match of the 24th week of the Turkish Super Lig, Besiktas secured a 2-1 victory over their fierce rival Trabzonspor, staging an impressive second-half comeback.
Trabzonspor took the lead early on with a 17th-minute goal by Simon Banza, putting pressure on the home side. However, Besiktas regrouped after the break, equalizing in the 53rd minute through Rafa Silva.
The decisive moment came in the 65th minute when Trabzonspor’s Arsenii Batagov scored an own goal, handing Besiktas the lead.

The 2-1 win marked Besiktas’ second consecutive league victory, propelling them to 5th place with 38 points.
