Arda Guler, Kenan Yildiz nominated for Globe Soccer’s 2024 emerging player award
Dubai-based Globe Soccer has announced the nominees for its prestigious ‘Emerging Player of the Year’ award, also known as the Dubai d’Or. Among the 10 finalists for the 2024 “Emerging Player” award are Turkish national team players Arda Guler from Real Madrid and Kenan Yildiz from Juventus.
The two 19-year-olds are considered strong contenders, having garnered attention for their impressive performances this season. Arda Guler was also nominated for this award in 2023.

Other nominees for the 2024 “Emerging Player” award include Barcelona’s Pau Cubarsi and Lamine Yamal, Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, PSG’s Desire Doue and Joao Neves, Bayern Munich’s Aleksandar Pavlovic, and Manchester City’s Savinho.
Yamal and Garnacho are seen as the main rivals to Guler and Yildiz. Yamal, who had an outstanding Euro 2024 campaign and won the tournament at a young age, has impressed at Barcelona with 6 goals and 8 assists in 16 matches this season.
Meanwhile, 20-year-old Garnacho has scored 7 goals and provided 4 assists in 18 appearances for Manchester United.
