Alvaro Morata expected to depart early from Galatasaray

A notable development has emerged regarding Galatasaray’s mid-season signing, Alvaro Morata. The Spanish striker, who joined the club on loan from AC Milan during the January transfer window, is reportedly expected to leave Türkiye before his contract expires.
Following head coach Okan Buruk’s decision to return to a four-man defensive formation, Morata has found limited opportunities in the starting eleven. As a result, it is claimed the world-renowned forward may part ways with the Istanbul club before completing his loan spell.
Portuguese media reports early departure
According to Portuguese outlet A Bola, Morata is likely to return to Milan at the end of the season, without completing his full loan term at Galatasaray.
The report notes that the 32-year-old striker is uncertain about receiving sufficient playing time next season, influencing his decision to depart early.
Osimhen named top transfer target
The report also emphasizes that Galatasaray is focused on strengthening its attacking lineup. Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, currently playing for Serie A side Napoli, has reportedly emerged as the club’s top priority. Morata’s departure is expected to make room for such high-profile signings.
