The Houston Rockets, with Alperen Sengun in their lineup, defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 119-116 in a closely contested NBA game. The Turkish player came close to recording a triple-double, finishing with 20 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists in nearly 38 minutes of play.

This important Western Conference matchup, held at the Toyota Center in Houston, saw Sengun play a key role in the Rockets’ victory. He was joined by Fred VanVleet, who scored 38 points and played a significant part in securing the win. Despite being one assist shy of a triple-double, the 22-year-old Sengun was crucial to Houston’s success.

On the other side, Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led his team with 32 points, followed by Jalen Williams with 22 points and Isaiah Hartenstein with 19. However, these individual efforts were not enough to overcome the Rockets.
