Alperen Sengun shines with double-double as Rockets defeat Timberwolves

Houston Rockets’ Turkish All-Star center Alperen Sengun delivered another impressive performance, recording a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds in a 121-115 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
After struggling in recent games, Houston bounced back with a strong team effort.
Jalen Green led the scoring with 35 points, while Amen Thompson contributed 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists. Returning from injury, Jabari Smith added 15 points and nine rebounds, providing much-needed support.

Edwards’ big night not enough for Minnesota
Despite Anthony Edwards’ 37-point performance, Minnesota failed to secure the win. Naz Reid added 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks, while Jaden McDaniels scored 21 points.
With this victory, Houston strengthened its position in the Western Conference standings, increasing its gap over Minnesota to four games.
