Alperen Sengun shines with double-double as Rockets defeat Suns 119-111

The Houston Rockets secured a 119-111 victory over the Phoenix Suns in an NBA regular-season matchup at home.

Turkish center Alperen Sengun delivered an impressive double-double performance, finishing with 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Rockets, improving their record to 34-20, also saw a triple-double from Amen Thompson, who recorded 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. Tari Eason contributed 25 points and 9 rebounds, while Jalen Green added 22 points and 5 assists.

Despite a strong effort from Kevin Durant, who posted 37 points and 9 assists, the Suns fell short.

Sengun joins the 2025 All-Star roster as part of Team Chuck, alongside MVP frontrunner Nikola Jokic. The All-Star Game takes place on Sunday, Feb. 16, at Chase Center.
