Alperen Sengun played a key role in the Houston Rockets’ 97-84 victory over the Orlando Magic, recording a double-double with 14 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists in 37 minutes on the floor.

The Turkish big man also reached a personal milestone, knocking down the 100th three-pointer of his NBA career.

Rockets dominate behind balanced scoring

Jabari Smith Jr. led Houston with 20 points and 7 rebounds, while Dillon Brooks added 17 points and 5 assists. Jalen Green contributed across the board with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists, and Steven Adams provided a strong presence inside with 11 points and 17 rebounds.

Magic struggle to keep up

Orlando found offensive production mainly from Paolo Banchero, who scored 25 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Franz Wagner was the only other Magic player to reach double figures, finishing with 15 points and 7 rebounds.

With this win, Houston improved to a 40-25 record, holding onto the fifth seed in the Western Conference. Orlando, now 30-36, remains eighth in the East as the playoff push intensifies.
