Alperen Sengun drops double-double as Rockets stun Warriors 106-96

Alperen Sengun led the way as the Houston Rockets defeated the Golden State Warriors 106-96 on the road, gaining a crucial advantage in the race for second place in the Western Conference.
The win marked Houston’s 15th victory in their last 17 games, bringing their season total to 52 wins.
Turkish center Alperen Sengun played 33 minutes and recorded a double-double with 19 points, 14 rebounds and four assists.
Dillon Brooks led the Rockets in scoring with 24 points, followed by Jalen Green with 21 points and five assists. Jabari Smith contributed 16 points and nine rebounds, while Amen Thompson had an all-around performance with 14 points, six rebounds, six assists, two blocks and three steals.

On the Warriors’ side, Stephen Curry had one of his worst outings of the season, scoring only three points on 10 field goal attempts in 33 minutes.
Buddy Hield scored 20, Brandin Podziemski 19, Gary Payton II added 16, and Jimmy Butler finished with 13 points for Golden State.
