All about Turkish women’s volleyball team’s flash outside hitter Hande Baladin
Turkish national women’s volleyball squad’s experienced outside hitter Hande Baladin stands out with her quick reflexes and powerful attacks. With many years of experience, she is considered an indispensable member of the national team.

Baladin plays as an outside hitter for the Turkish Women’s National Volleyball Team and for Eczacibasi in the Sultanlar League.
She developed her skills in the Eczacibasi youth system and has played for clubs such as Izmir DSI, Arkas, Izmir Buyuksehir Belediyespor, Sariyer Belediyespor and Galatasaray.
Initially starting her career as a middle blocker, she has played as an outside hitter since 2014. She spent the 2014-2015 season on loan at Sariyer Belediyespor, moved up to Eczacibasi’s A team for the 2015-2016 season, and played on loan at Galatasaray during the 2018-2019 season.
Returning to Eczacibasi for the 2019-2020 season, she has achieved significant success with the Turkish Women’s National Volleyball Team, winning the 2023 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League, the 2023 European Women’s Volleyball Championship, and the 2023 Volleyball World Cup.
In 2024, a documentary titled “Baladin” about her was released. With Eczacibasi, she has won several titles, including the 2016 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship, the 2017-18 CEV Women’s Cup, and the 2023 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship.
Her national team achievements include winning the 2017 FIVB U23 Women’s World Championship, the 2023 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League, the 2023 European Women’s Volleyball Championship, and the 2023 Volleyball World Cup.
Individually, she has received awards for Best Blocker at the 2013 U17 European Volleyball Championship, Best Outside Hitter, and Most Valuable Player at the 2017 FIVB U23 Women’s World Championship.
