The U.S. State Department has announced a reward of up to $15 million for information leading to the identification of individuals or networks financing the Houthis.

The reward is aimed at obtaining tips related to Houthi financiers, their associates, or their financial networks. Information can be submitted via Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp, or a Tor-based tip line.

The Houthis, who are trained and armed by Iran, have carried out several attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea, causing civilian casualties and disrupting maritime traffic.

The group has also attempted hijackings and fired shore-to-ship missiles at vessels belonging to the U.S. and its allies.
