During his speech, he emphasized Türkiye’s strong commitment to the initiative, which was launched in 2022 to foster sustainable economic development.

Highlighting the initiative’s goals of strengthening supply chain security, promoting localization, and encouraging value-added production, Kacir said: “In today’s economic landscape, this partnership will undoubtedly contribute to regional peace and stability through mutual interdependence, which is a key factor for prosperity.”

Number of member states rises to 7

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt, and Jordan initially launched the partnership in May 2022 in Abu Dhabi, aiming to unlock new industrial opportunities and drive sustainable economic growth in key sectors, including food and agriculture, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, textiles, minerals, and petrochemicals.

At the second High Committee Meeting in Cairo in 2022, Bahrain joined the initiative, followed by Morocco at the fourth High Committee Meeting in Bahrain in 2024. With the inclusion of Türkiye and Qatar, the total number of member states has now risen to seven.

Under the partnership, participating nations will collaborate to integrate their resources and industries, leveraging competitive advantages to strengthen their respective industrial sectors.
