Turkish UCAV strike in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq kills 3 PKK/YPG terrorists
A targeted UCAV strike believed to be operated by the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) targeted a vehicle in the Khalakan region of Sulaymaniyah, Iraq today, killing at least three PKK/YPG terrorists.
All three PKK/YPG terrorists inside the vehicle were reportedly killed
According to early reports, the attack occurred between the villages of Merga Pasha and Khalakan. The targeted vehicle, a Jeep, was hit by a drone strike, completely engulfing it in flames. All three terrorists inside the vehicle were reportedly killed.
Khalakan health directorate and other officials confirm
Hamad, the Khalakan Health Directorate, confirmed the incident, stating, “Due to the strike, three people inside were burned. All three have died.”
Khalakan Health Directorate officials said, “As of now, the identities of the victims have not been determined.” Meanwhile, district officials reported that preliminary information suggests three individuals were inside the vehicle, all of whom were killed instantly due to the strike.
Kamaran Abdullah, head of the Khalakan district, also confirmed, “The corpses are burned to the point they cannot be identified.”
